The new studio.
Having a beautiful bright, new private studio with floor to ceiling windows has been a dream of mind since I first started photography. Now that dream is a reality with our new studio at 220 Ninth Street.
Hamilton Park is home. Fun fact: we raised our kids on Hamilton Park and our studio was next door to the WORD Bookstore right there on the park for 10 years.
Our new space has the same proximity with more space, privacy and natural light. I can't wait for you to see it.

Even though I am behind the camera capturing your images, so much more goes into making a great photograph. There is always a team of us behind-the-scenes to produce, setup, craft and deliver our work to you - from understanding your needs and preparing your set to staying on top of technical trends and the finest print products.

"We loved our photo session with Ingrid! She is obviously a phenomenal photographer but also fantastic at getting everyone at ease in front of the camera. We did our first session when baby 1 was 8 months-old. The prints and canvases were stunning. We were so impressed that five years down the line we drove back to Jersey City from Long Island with baby number 2 in tow for another photo session. It was another wonderful experience. Similarly the ordering session was great. Nate helped guide us through the process and was extremely accommodating and patient with us. We never felt rushed or pressured and in the end were very pleased with the prints, canvases and photo album we chose. Thank you, Ingrid and Nate!"

What it's like to become part of our studio family.
Alex is one the very first members of our studio family. I photographed her at just a few months old, and have had her back in the studio year after year, watching her grow into this beautiful young woman.
Every year, we have a tradition of capturing this family shot. And every year, we frame it in the same size, in the same mat and mould, building this beautiful wall gallery over time in their home.

WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED?
We are located in the brand new Swift & Co. building, one block from the centerpiece of the historic district's five acre Hamilton Park. Enjoy easy parking with easy stroller and elevator access to our studio. Street parking is available in surrounding area as well as valet parking on Hamilton Park and garage parking two blocks east.

Nearby, you'll find Tribeca Pediatrics, Integrative Obstetrics and Salon X for your pre-session hair & makeup needs. Or take a scenic stroll through the 5 lush acres of Hamilton Park just outside our studio.
ARE DIGITALS INCLUDED WITH THE SESSION FEE?
No, digitals are purchased separately. After doing this for over a decade, we have found that digitals are not for everyone. By allowing prints and digitals to be added on later after the session, we can customize packages based on each of our clients individual needs without charging them for items they can do without. We can walk our clients through the creative process of creating whatever print products they would like.

We have a collection of chairs, benches and bedding for posing, as well as baskets, wraps, toys, and props for babies. We also encourage you to bring anything from home that has special meaning to you or your family.
